ARTWORK SUBMISSION SPECIFICATIONS

Please use the following guidelines when submitting a file to us for use in your sign project.

There are two basic file types - Vector and Raster.

VECTOR FILES (eps, ai, cdr, pdf):

VECTOR files provide the best quality outcome because these types of files can be scaled to any size without loss of quality. The image will remain sharp and clear and will never be fuzzy or pixelated. This is the type of file format we prefer in most cases. Vector files are required for all cut vinyl graphics. All professional Graphic Designers are familiar with vector files and can provide a file in a Vector format.

IMPORTANT

FOR VECTOR FILES: ALL TEXT MUST BE CONVERTED TO OUTLINES or CURVES.
We may not be able to use your file if this is not done. Thank you.

RASTER FILES (jpg, tiff - NO gif or RAW):

RASTER files are for photographic images. We need high resolution jpg or tif files. The pixels per inch (ppi) must be no less than 300. A low-resolution file will not enlarge well and will result in a fuzzy, blurry sign. We want to provide only quality signage so low-quality files are not acceptable. Raster files can only be used for digital print graphics. Raster files are not cuttable.

If you're not sure what type of file you have and whether it will produce the desired results, you may email your artwork to Carol@PacificSignCenter.com for evaluation.

We honor work created by other designers. Please don't ask us to reproduce copyrighted material unless you have written permission from the designer.

KEEP IN MIND: THE BETTER THE QUALITY OF THE FILE, THE BETTER THE OUTPUT WILL BE.
